Vacation Part 4 - Traveling

5/16/2011 ~ With the great vacation we had, it also included a lot of traveling by airplane and hummer.  We left Colorado Springs on May 4 and drove to Denver International Airport where we took a flight to Gulfport, MS.

We stayed with the Hendry's until May 6th, when we got in my Father-In-Laws Hummer and drove 6 hours to Valdosta, GA.

We met up with my Dad, Step-Mom and Sisters at Cheddar's.  Nana and Pawpaw babysat until midnight (and yes they watched the very hyper kids up until the time we got back at midnight) while Jonathan and I went out with my sisters.

 After the graduation ceremony was over, we loaded back up in the Hummer and drove 4 hours to Destin, FL.

Jonathan wanted to find the house that his Grandma used to live in.  He had distinct memories of this house but was surprised to see how his memories were off just a bit.

We met the whole Hamilton clan at a beach house, where we stayed until Tuesday May 11.

The once again, we loaded back up and drove 3 hours back to Biloxi.  Along the way, we stopped for lunch at a beach restaurant in Pensacola, FL and then decided to take the tour of the USS Alabama.

While the boys went into some tight spaces, I stayed back and noticed how big my stomach has gotten.  :)

We were supposed to leave on Saturday the 14th but the airline had a different plan for us.  About 30 minutes prior to our plane leaving at 6:30AM, we were told that the plane was broke and they'd have to shift everyone around to get other planes.  Needless to say, around 10AM my in-laws picked us back up from the airport and sent us away with the only next flight for the 4 of us would be the next afternoon.  Made the last bit of the trip a little more exciting but at least we all survived and made it home safe. 

On the plane ride home, the boys were exhausted.
