The Hendry Family: Boys 1st bath together

11/23/08 ~ Tonight the boys took their 1st bath together. It was fun for Brayden, new for Jaryn and a little scary for mom and dad. We spent the entire time inches away from Jaryn while him and Brayden played in the water. Jaryn loves being able to sit up and splash in the water, he also enjoyed trying to grab the water that was coming out of the faucet.

Brayden says...

"It's OK Jaryn, Mommy's coming, don't cry she's coming, see here she comes...Mommy I watched Jaryn for you". 08/16/08

Jaryn was screaming because it was time for Tylenol after he got 4 shots. When I looked over at Brayden he was crying too, so I asked him what was wrong and he said, "I'm mad because Jaryn got shots and his legs hurt, it makes me sad that he's crying" My heart melted, my eyes started to tear up and Jonathan rolled his eyes saying, "Oh my gosh, he's just like you". 8/27/08

We got a new jeep yesterday and had to haul the kids to Denver to get it. When we told Brayden what we were doing he said, "are we going to put it in the truck"? We had to explain that the new big jeep won't fit in the trunk, then he was quick to resolve this new issue by saying that him and Daddy will drive the jeep home and Mommy can drive the car home with Jaryn. 10/14/08
