2 Parties in 1 Night

1/22/11 ~  We had a fun Saturday that consisted on 2 birthday parties.  First was a skating party for one of Brayden's friends who turned 6.  Then we left there early and raced over to a 2 year old party at It'z.  It took Jaryn a couple of hours to get adjusted to the fun because we had to move his name around a little so that we could attend both parties.  By 8 pm, he didn't want to leave :). 

Watching Jonathan and Brayden skate was so fun for me.  Jonathan used to be quite the inline skater so he had a 'blast from the past' moment.  I was glad it was so loud inside because Jaryn screamed the entire time we were there I never heard him :).  He first cried because he wanted skates like Brayden, once the skates were on he cried b/c he wanted to skate with Jonathan and Brayden, then continued because he didn't want to skate, then cried because he was sitting out of the rink and so on.  On the other hand, Brayden did great and even got to use his new roller blades that he got for Christmas.  I think we found a new weekend or summer hobby.

Then it was off to It'z for Whitney's 2nd Birthday party.  Witney's mom and I went to college together and have continued a friendship that's even stronger now as moms.  Both boys had a blast riding the rides and playing all the games.
